We NEED A Backup Running Back

We need a RB that has the ability to come in and be the guy if Ek goes down or misses games, or come in on the 3 and or 4th down play when we need 1 to 2 yards for a 1st . Penny or Marlon Mack would fit this role perfectly... I don't think a rookie RB makes sense at this point. Rountree is probably a better option than a rookie.

I'd rather draft a RB early than rely on those injury prone guys.

With his added workload last year, Patterson had kick return duties cut way back. While I do like him as a player, I'm not so sure we'd be getting the Swiss Army knife many envision.

Jakeem Grant was the guy I was hoping for, as he can handle punt and kickoff and give Herby a guy who can blow the top off the D. Unfortunately, he just got signed by the Brownies.

In listening to Brandon Staley in an interview today it looks like the Chargers are looking to draft a RB in this draft, and Justin Jackson won't be resigned.Joshua K. & Rountree are coming back.

Kelly imo is on the verge of getting cut.

Staley didn't say they need to get better production from the #2 RB because he trusts those guys.

The two Guys I like will probably be gone by mid second round. My #1 back is Kenny Walker III. The dude can cut and change direction on a dime with very good vision. Breece hall could be had somewhere in the second round. I do like the guy from ND and he would be an up grade over what we currently have.
