Different schemes. Many of the defensive players we have were drafted for Gus. Some guys can play in any defense and some fit better in other defenses. Staley gets a chance with FA'cy to add his type with the money we have this year.

As for Philon, I wanted us to keep him but he signed with AZ. Ingram didn't do much in Pittsburgh or KC. He is done.

69 Jaylen Wright RB - Tenn or Blake Corum - Michigan

Spagnuolo credits Ingram with changing the course of the KC defense this season. I guess you didn’t see his play on MG III?

And DAL now trails by one score.
What's the new narrative of SF D vs StaleyD ?
We do not play modern football.

I don't care what he said.
Mel didn't do much there and started only 1 game. He has only been in KC six weeks..... He didn't do anything to speak of against us. He had one solo tackle and two assists. No pressures against Norton.

In 15 games this season he has 25 tackles and 2 sacks, which is two more he had last season.

I would wager maybe a positional coach at most. Other then that, it’s getting better players for Staley.

A lot of weird hypotheticals in here that I hate seeing. Sometimes a player needs to move on because he’s no longer good with his current team, and can do better in a new environment. You can’t assume that he’ll be as good still here with you. It is what it is. Darius Philon is good example.

I'll assume it's a no but would like to be pleasantly surprised.
Thats where I am at too. Nice thought - but will it happen, probably not

What picking up Mel did was allow Ford to move back inside where he is much, much more effective.

On the other hand, Casey Hayward did better with us than he did with the Pack...especially his first two years with us...
