A sleeper name for me is DJ Reed from the Seahawks

I don't think telesco is looking to trade a pick for a 1-year rental. Either sign JC Jackson or draft one at 17. That's a position we would like to have around for a while.

Depends on if you think those are tier 1 or tier 2 moves. I think the four guys listed (excluding the Mack trade) would comprise our tier 1 big splash moves. Aboushi would be a nice cheap resign, though I do wonder if he can replicate what he did as RG last year. Cordarelle would definitely be nice since he can do ST and be RB2. Would be the price be too much if we get the other four big signings?

I think we have a lot of top end talent and need some solid guys on smaller contracts.

The worst kept secret is that agents and teams don't talk. Like at the combine, Telesco just happens to run into JC Jacksons agent at the bar and the agent slips him a bar napkin with 4/80/42g or something on it

My hope is that after free agency and the draft - veterans see a team with a chance to win and if the dollars are there, pick the chargers

Hence, why I think they have to re-do either Mack or Bosa's deal to be able to sign a couple cheap vets and not rely on UDFAs

I think there can be some really good value signings this offseason by the Chargers after going big on a couple more big time free agents. The 2 I hope they still splash for are SJD and JC Jackson. Here are a couple that will add depth and I think can play a key piece in the defense and offense. Oday would be a great start in signing a value FA.

That would be awesome but I think talking to the players or agents before free agency is tampering isn't it? Not that teams haven't done it before as by the quick signings that we see on day 1
