Agreed. If Guyton could just sort of fill the role of making a few key good catches per game and on some deep routes & If Staley could just use him maybe the way the Chargers used Tony Martin back in the day I think this could be good and a similar thing.

Tony Martin had 90 receptions in '95, and in '96 had 85 receptions, w/14 TDs, and went to the Pro Bowl that year.

Still having a problem getting past that the Chargers led the league in dropped passes last season. I don’t recall that as something I pounded the table about. I DO remember Cook having some drops. Others include Herbert zinging it in there to some receivers. Guyton? I don’t recall how many he dropped. Don’t recall him dropping a lot. I just think that was somewhat a surprising stat.

I rewatched the 4th qtr of our last game against the turds last season recently and all our wrs had drops.Really stood out watching it this time around.

In the moment it’s like what the FK but in review, if your drilling down specifically on one thing, then it does stand out. For me it was the missed tackles and blown coverages…..if you get past Storm turning into blocking dummy.
