Not too much to comment on now while we await the draft.
My hospice nurse thinks I have about three weeks left.
Breathing is hard and when the breathing is hard, everything is hard.
I've been listening to soft piano music and drifting off to sleep now and then.
Keep on going man. 3 weeks is kind of good news for me personally. Just been thinking it might be any moment now. When you are quiet for a day i worry. Not a bad worry...but i just know this will hit me hard. Thanks for the update man. We got you brother.

I shouldn't complain though because most of my life I've been healthy and strong. God has blessed me with a very nice life and what I'm dealing with now is kind of normal for this late in life. (Not necessarily the cancer but the slow deterioration of the body). I can do this.
      Good to hear from you.

Is baseball talk allowed in a football group?

Thanks for that. The hospice people give me whatever it takes to keep me comfortable. Hospice care is a real blessing.

Don't mourn when I pass. Instead have a little celebration, praising God that I'm safe and sound - pain-free, breathing like a kid and strong again. Better times are coming and they will last forever and ever!

Its a given. I know we will be chilling one day anyways. Just look out for my brother and dad. Thank them for watching over me.

We will celebrate you and be glad that you’re free of this earthly pain. But mourning is for those left behind

Hang in there. 3 weeks gets you through the draft.

Who do you want to see at 17?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I've convinced myself that they will fill the RT vacancy from within so I don't expect the RT pick that I was expecting a few weeks ago. That makes the pick wide open to my way of thinking. There's bound to be a nice cluster of players available but I don't feel certain about who they'll pick. If the two best Guards from this draft are still on the board, I'd lean to one of them - Zion or Kenyon, but there will be some tempting CB's and WR's too. We may get a big surprise this time.
