We’ll have two solid rookies on the Oline at some point this season…just sayin’.
Welcome Jamaree Salyer, OL, Georgia (R6, #195)

Just watched Jasir Taylor having trouble keeping up with a Shrine Bowl receiver on a dig route: fortunately the ball was late and Yasir knocked it away.
This was one of his highlights.
Why not Tariq Castro Fields who had good tape against Ohio States group of receivers? You just need him to be better than Campbell/Marshall.
He's as fast as Jasir Taylor.
Sometimes Chaincrusher has a good point with taking 'consensus' choices, as inexact as that might be: particularly when your GM continually bucks it and comes up empty.

If it was Detroit, they all might wash out.
Three is a lot of of Olinemen not producing their first year though: at least one will probably be waived.

Watching Salyer a bit more at LT against Michigan, he got help against Ojabo & Hutchinson on many plays
I don't know if he's an RT in the NFL; but i did like his patience in dealing with those two.
Ojabo's speed gave him more problems.
He can be put there in a pinch, certainly. Permanently, i don't know. Prefer him to Norton there absolutely.

Anyway, Jaimes and Salyer both fit that same category. No guarantee they work out but they're better than our previous developmental OL picks.

Fixed... sorry about that. First time in years I didn't watch day 3 pick by pick, would have been easier to pick up that mistake on review, lol.
