my other main point is that if a RB shows nothing special his first 2 years when he was given many chances to play, then he is not a good or great NFL RB.... RB's who show nothing their first 2 years are just not great..... LT made an average OL look better than it was because he was special......one cut and he shot through small openings like a blurrr..... Kelley and Roundtree require huge holes..... which are hard to consistently come by in NFL.....
There are many teams in the NFL who have much better RB depth than Chargers had last year....that is why we spend a fairly high draft pick on Spiller who IS and NFL quality back..... Spiller was not a 6th round shot in the dark with a dart...... he was one of the very top RB's in college football..... if course no one is saying he is LT, but he should be a very solid all round productive and elusive RB, like other teams have.... Also hoping that Horvath ends up landing a spot as big power RB/FB...... so Chargers can actually run on 3rd or 4th and one and get the first down or goal line TD......and I believe he will....

ill believe he has more burst when i see it.

NFL analysts that i happen to listen to on the radio consider Buffalo, Kansas City, and a few others as legit Super Bowl contenders,
the Chargers typically are not in that group.
One radio analyst from today said the Chargers could start off the season 0 - 2.
They seem to be flying under the radar.
