To quote someone here on TPB - Phil ran like a baby giraffe. I take Herbie over Rivers 100 times out of 100 without blinking. I don’t want Herbie to tackle, I want to teach our TEs to run correct routes and not jump out of the way of his passes. I thought that was why we got rid of the last TE.

Everett's motivation is irrelevant, when you're gassed, you're gassed and responsible for letting someone know to pull you out, he did that, our sideline responded by telling him to go back out, that was a mistake and irresponsible.
him going back out is his duty and doing anything else is insubordination.

Bottom line, if they were trying to hurry it up and he was unable to do so he should have taken a knee and gone out for a play. It would have been first and goal from the 3 still. He didn't, half assed the play, and likely cost us the game.

I agree, cannot be on the field and half ass fuck up because you’re tired. That can never be the excuse - Its all or nothing, full stop. i love your idea - hope Staley coaches the players to do this if they feel it is such an emergency they are going to cost a future game:

- Just lay down on the field and writhe about in pain to get needed Referee attention and stoppage. Call it a cramp, back in a play or two.
