Other than the Herbert injury the 2 biggest concerns to me going into this game is Austin Ekeler's play in these first 2 games and JC Jackson's injury(I guess he shouldn't have played last week)!

Defense was great without Jackson week1.

Linsley injury is biggest concern to me and I would bench Herbert if Clapp is center.

It's up to Staley to forge the culture of this team that they can (and will) win games even with key players injured. Other teams do this every week, we are not the only team to be beset with injuries. It's a mind-set that can be coached, it's a team game, and with the right coaching, becomes infectious with the 'next-guy up' mentality. Really looking forward to this game.

That is due in part to playing the first two games of the season four days apart. KC is banged up too. It takes a few games for the players bodies to adjust to the weekly grind. Those who play in the first Thurs nite game after the opening Sunday are more susceptible to injury.

You give up easily, don't you? If you have a sore toe do you get your foot amputated?

You scramble away from danger rather than make the throw and get blasted. He should definitely run more IMO. On the move you don't take direct hits like you being a statue in the pocket. We had Rivers FFS for 16 years. We have some one that is as fast has Allen or Mahomes. He needs to be more of a dual threat.,

Do you wish to risk Herbert's health with Clapp at center?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

If we were not the clearly better team, then the loss would not piss me off as much as it does. The loss was stupid and totally unnecessary.

We cannot control the poor officiating, but the team can fix the lame play calling that is killing the offense this year.
I agree with you mostly. Those were 100% turnovers. We got jobbed there. My gripe is coaching not recognizing Evans tapping to come out. Nope we're rushing right back to the line of scrimmage to throw it you again.... There's not a run? Or another player besides him to call plays for? Must have better play calling and execution in the red zone.

JC must have opened the incision or maybe it's unrelated to his surgery.

                        Pretty frustrating
