3rd and 2, 4 receivers run 4 yard routes.

What's wrong with that? The 1 yard routes were too congested.

Reminds me of the Bolts with Ronnie Harmon.

Ronnie Harman was amazing with the Chargers. Found his niche catching passes on 3rd down. Most teams could not stop him.

Now that the 49ers have McCaffery(which I just found hard to believe) they are a way better team. We don't have much chance against them I don't think. I always felt we should have drafted McCaffery instead of Mike Williams with that 7th pick. Rivers would have used the heck out of him like Sproles. Mike Williams has been average at best IMO.

Harmon was a top 3 third down RB in the NFL, maybe top 5 at worst - catching passes out of the backfield

If Storm Norton is playing, I wouldn't even bother starting Herbert to be honest. But even if Pip is in, they're just going to stack the box every play and steamroll the offensive line.
