Ask Telesco and Spanos and you guys that always make excuses for them.

They are the ones that said, “hell no, we don’t need to get a WR with speed before the trade deadline”

Yes, it illuminated exactly what posters on this forum have been criticizing, where all the receivers head for the same cluster a few yards past scrimmage which makes it extremely easy to defend.

You couldn’t draw up a worse play if you tried and that son of a bitch is doing it over and over.

The Chargers remain 7 pt underdogs v the 49ers. And they are 5.5 underdogs against the Chiefs the following Sun night.

Lots of negative media attention on this team lately with the You g and Simms pieces in particular coupled with the betting line disrespect. Does it galvanize them? Are the talking heads right? Toxic negativity of fan base spreading to media?

That dude was money on 3rd down, even when everyone on the other team knew he was getting the ball!

These next two games are going to answer a lot of these questions.

                    Interesting!

                    https://www.ninersnation.com/2022/11...t-the-chargers

The 49ers are just 2-3 in their last five games against bottom-five run defenses, even they the dominated on the ground in those losses.

Jimmy Garoppolo sucks in prime time unless it's against the Rams. In 10 prime time games since the start of the 2020 season, Garoppolo is 3-0 against the Rams and 0-7 against everyone else. He's thrown at least one INT in each of those losses and multiple INTs in four of them.

The niners are very beatable, don't care what the "pundits" say. Hopefully Staley has them ready to play out of the gate.

Who said that anywhere on this board?

And you are conflating two very different things - the front office not replacing Guyton's speed or being willing to use scrubs during Allen and Williams time out of the lineup and what kind of plays Lombardi can call with no receivers, both starting tackles out and a QB with bum ribs.

The Chargers have had a habit of falling behind early then coming back and pulling ahead to eke out a narrow victory at the end. They can't do that against the Niners and expect to come back and win.
