I was at the game in AZ last Sunday......The Chargers were facing some real talent out there on the Cardinals offense , Murray, Hopkins, Brown and Conner.......and the D was able to get the job done when it counted most......Michael Davis was outstanding ( I don't get why he is so underappreciated) so was James......of course JH and Ek were on their game too, despite the OL struggling.we should really appreciate that win.
I really expect a win against the Raiders, but we need better OL play, hope Linsley can play and need to keep Jacob's front running wild, easier said then done.....I expect JH will get the job done, as he and his weapons are getting healthy......they need to utilize Carter as they did in AZ, he has speed and gets separation.......Allen, Everett , Palmer and Ek can keep moving the chains......Need to chip Crosby, can't let him dictate anything, the rest of the Raiders D doesn't scare me....Expect Chargers Offense to control the ball and keep Raiders O off the field.

I see this one as a loss and really a mismatch.
The 'fade are much, much better than their record. They've lost 3 games after leading by 17 or more points. Had a heartbreaking loss against KC they led most of the way. They were a drive away from beating us in the first game vs a Chargers team that was a lot healthier than they are now. They lost in OT to the cardinals, lost to the Titans by 2. They could easily be an 8-2 and probably should be 7-4.
Their offense is a bad mismatch for our defense. They line up in power formations with a fullback and run the football like S.F. but they have a legit power back & much better passing game. I won't be at all surprised to see Jacobs go for over 200. Nobody on our defense can cover Davante Adams. Normally Carr starts to wilt under pressure but without Bosa we no longer get consistent pressure without blitzing.
They have mad max on defense and a lot of former players for this football team play on that side of the ball and those guys like Perriman always play over their heads vs the Chargers.
The 'fade will win by double digits easily if this team plays the way they did vs arizona.Comment

The guy got freaking fired for not doing enough. Compare that to today’s business as usual. Selling popcorn, filling seats, increasing the value of an NFL franchise , etc. I have say, those were the good old days. Marty got fired….I , for one , miss that scenario. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! Start quick I am sick of coming from behind every game. I am sick of seeing this offense turning on the jets when their backs are against the wall. Take the halter off of Herbert encourage him to get out of the pocket more. Good things happen. Crosby is going to be a nightmare.Comment

I agree Herbert needs to look to run a few more times if the pocket is collapsing.
Honestly without Renfro and Waller their offense is far easier to game plan for. Yes we will give up some run yards but if we contain Adams we can devote more to stop the run and blitzing to get carr shook. I think our game plan isnt much different than game 1 but this round the Difference may be Ek touches and Allen. Protect Herb and i think we get the win as im not that scared of their D even with our OL beatup.
