i was at the game last night and there seemed to be a healthy dose of dolphin fans making noise when we were on offense. how did is sound on the TV?

we were estimating something like a 60-40 or 70-30 edge for charger fans.

You could hear them pretty well, except with a minute to go in the 4th quarter.

Much better performance overall, but how the hell does this game even get that close?? I mean, the Chargers were much better in every aspect of the game yet the Dolpinhs were close in the end

If we would have played better (called better plays) in the red zone this game would have been a joke of a blowout.

On TV it did not seem as though there were many Dullfins fans there at all. Could barely hear them.

I too was at the game with a friend who's a Dolphins fan, he thought 55/45 Chargers fans I thought 55/45 Dolphins fans, we agreed at 50/50.

Was it just me or should that have been called down? When whoever from the Dullfins was on the ground and pushed the ball back I thought that it should have been blown dead and un piled. But whatever its not like it cost us the game.

I'm in a small group, party of one? who was favorably impressed with Lombardi's play calling.

I thought he was very good last night, except on the Chargers' first red zone possession, when they turned it over on downs after not throwing a pass into the end zone.

I think Herbert is the most cool QB we ever have had.

It's an interesting contrast with Rivers, who was, um, pretty animated.

It was definately weird. A Dolphin player pushed it out of the pile like a rugby scrum.

inside the stadium, you could definitely hear the dolphin fans. what i had hard time determining was how loud the chargers fans were vs. the dolphin fans.

also, from a visual perspective, there were plenty of patches of dolphin fans. when i went to the 49ers game (I live in santa clara), the visual was pretty much nothing but 49ers fans and tiny specs of powder blue.

Herbert is such a cool-headed guy. He stands in there and makes his plays with people all over him. I think his patience is outstanding! I've been a Charger fan since that first game at Balboa stadium 61 years ago and I think Herbert is the most cool QB we ever have had.

Cooler than Babe Laufenberg?!? lol
