Tillery flashed at times, was even serviceable at times...but...he sure did make some bonehead boo-boos...oh, like that Raiders game...

9-8 would probably be the worst outcome as the Spanii would probably hang onto Telesco and Staley for another year

Or at worst thinks its just the head coach but first Staley

The team either needs to get to 11 wins or they need to be at under 7 wins

I think the expectation coming off last year is a playoff win.

        No playoffs.
Only excuse would be JH10 missed multiple games.

        No playoff win.
Again only excuse is JH10 missed all or part of that game.

A playoff win and he returns for sure.
Even if the next game is a would have could have should have won it but Chargered it away.
Who has it better than us?

I hope its a package deal - both have to go. It just can't be Staley. In fact, if I had to pick one, I would pick Staley - I think he can still improve. The Telesco experiment is over if like you said, they don't make some noise in the playoffs.

I was listening to a podcast this AM and realized they were basically Chargers employees. Nothing hard hitting at all..

Exactly. He had Rivers - two playoffs - zero division - for the most part below average OLines and average at best defenses

Now has Herbert -- defenses, with a defensive minded head coach, are not good. Up to 28th in the league - whoop whoop

That’s an interesting question. It’s not like you can’t get out of Staley’s doghouse ie. Trey Pipkins in 2021 and Michael Davis 2022. But then you also had the Tillery situation from last year, which we know now was a lockerroom problem. I wonder what happened with JC and which category he fell under.

The Chargers generally do a good job of keeping leaks from coming out. It may be a while before we learn anything.

                        Good point

I mean, the injury for sure played a part . But again, maybe scheme fit was not there. Lucky that they actually got a pick swap and a nominal amoubt of cap space

Here's a real report for you - The Chargers made a mistake to sign JCJ for that amount and they got next to nothing for it. Kind of like the David Boston deal.
