That’s an interesting question. It’s not like you can’t get out of Staley’s doghouse ie. Trey Pipkins in 2021 and Michael Davis 2022. But then you also had the Tillery situation from last year, which we know now was a lockerroom problem. I wonder what happened with JC and which category he fell under.

With JCJ, it was the injury that hurt last season; this season, I think it was Staley's Deceptive Defense that confused JCJ...the players have commented about how complex Staley's D is, in the past...

Why should the GM have to force the HC to play a defense that his players can understand and that is sustainable over the course of the season? If Staley is too obtuse or stubborn to do this on his own, then screw him and the horse he rode in on. I'm hoping he does this on his own. If he can change his approach with the circumstances, he still has a chance here. If not, he will just be another wasted HC pick. I'm really hoping for the former.

JC played great at NE so evidently Staley did NOT do his homework on him and did not use him right.

Obviously he had the ability. Use his best ability that made you want him in the first place.

If he shines in NE again, you will get the answer to who the problem was.

I want Tom to consider it if Staley continues to insist on playing Derwin at 5 positions at the detriment of the other guys.
I'm convinced this is the root of our miscommunication.
