Yes but we sigh a solid veteran to a SHORT team deal, not what Tranquiill is looking for at a position Staley doesnt value as highly as other defensive positions. More cap flexibility than Drue

When you start 20 million over the cap before moves yes, we will be losing some players. Life in the NFL

By compensation I was referring to his pay, kendricks doesn’t hit the compensatory pick formula, he was released before FA and wasn’t due to be a free agent, so basically he’s not a qualified free agent, so he doesn’t count against players we lose….
