There are a lot of players league wide that loved the teams that drafted them so much they won’t consider going to a division rival, but the Spanos family doesn’t get that type of respect or consideration…

The raiders have picked up like 5 chargers and some coaches in the last few years, the broncos with gordon, the chiefs with tranquil, I’m sure I’m forgetting some guys…

I like Tranq. But he's not so good that he's irreplaceable.

That Drue signed a ONE year deal with the Chiefs is evidence that he didn't get anything as far as desirable multi-year offers. A one year deal like this is often referred to as a "Prove It" deal-- where a strong season leads to a multi-year extension.

I have no idea what it would have taken to sign him to a 3 year deal. I would have liked to see it happen, but it didn't. Is the Eric Kendricks signing a corresponding move here? Will he fill the role Tranquill did?
