Me fine too. Don't think it's makes a diff though but if Zion IS more at home there, cool.
But when beach says he wants for some reason for Salyer to eventually move to OC , he is doing the very thing he thinks the team isn't smart for doing by playing guys out of the their "natural" possition.

I don't necessarily buy that. Many, many OL play all over the OL. Slater has, many college LT start at RT in the NFL then move over.

We have typically liked OL that are versatile and the players know it benefits them to do that.

      Just weapons.
      To me,
stretching the field horizontally means not necessarily speed getting to the EDGE,
but someone who can elude or break tackles..
      We need YAC, cheap yards.
A vertical field stretcher probably might be someone with pure deep speed.
But it can also be other things.
Why Gibbs is top of my cluster. Unique talent.

Gibbs, like Bijan and Spears, can run the WR routes. Opponents will get caught in mismatches, with the wrong personnel groupings.

Example. SF has two hybrids. Deebo + CMC.

Cannot wait to see what suits Moore's fancy.

"Just another Ekeler" would be a fantastic addition. At least, it is if you're preparing for Ekeler's departure.

Gibbs, btw, possesses better speed than Ekeler.

Outstanding . . . . . . this is a dream lineup - assuming they can all stay (relatively) healthy. We really (really!!!) need a competent backup center.

Something very special with Gibbs that I can't seem to articulate. It's weird.
I want to say "twitch" but idk if that's accurate.

Anyway, definitely in my cluster at 21.

Thing is, if he’s there at 21, not sure who I would take over him (other than Bijon lol). Every other position, while showing very good talent to us at that point in the draft I’m sure, has lots of damn near as good options later in the draft: quality depth EDGE, WR, TE, CB are all through this draft, depending on what flavor you’re looking for. First round picks should be at least solid starters, ideally almost Pro Bowl players out of the box, or somebody unlike any of the other options at that position. And for us it’s a position of need (looking at the greater need for weapons, screw where they line up, that’s Moore’s job to figure that out lol). The YAC is what stands out to me, he’s the most legit open field weapon at 21, most likely.

I think thats a fair assessment.

I mostly agree, I think the depth at TE is massively over rated because of a few late athletic freaks with "potential"
I'm trying to not let draft boards distract me from what I'm seeing with my eyes, and my eyes tell me Washington is the second best overall weapon (after Bijan) for our particular offense and what staley/moore are trying to do.
as you say, the class is deep at RB, Edge, WR, CB
I will be very happy to have Gibbs at 21 because I consider him a weapon suitable for a modern offense, but if staley is serious about being that "LOS team" there is no faster way that DW. At least on offense. All starting OL and DL are set, we nees an X factor to zig while everyone zags.
