Why do you suppose Herbert didn't throw the ball to endzone, to QJ, and instead chose a harder throw to Keenan Allen? Curious, no?

Don't overlook that the game plan was quick throws to overcome all the cover zero blitzes Flores threw at them. I don't fault Herbert for throwing to someone who he knows will be where he is supposed to be under the circumstances vs someone who broke open. And I am sure the clock in Herbert's head was very fast this game, reducing processing time. I don't read anything into this. Herbert has demonstrated he has confidence in all his receivers, even ones like TBilly who made a big TD catch his first game and substandard players like Bandy.

If he's not getting playing time over Palmer, we got a problem. I agree with not labeling him over drafted before we can actually see him in action.
But come on he's a 1st rounder. He should be contributing sooner rather than later, no matter what Staley the defensive genius says. If he doesn't
get his opportunity for playing time now that MW is out, then something is amiss.

I don't think Palmer is all that great. He's merely serviceable IMHO.

We haven't seen this new roster add elevated above Q on the depth chart just yet, lets wait and see about all of these Fehoko projections flying around TPB the last few days.

They lost a WR, Moore likes to carry WRs, To me this says more about his view of his current practice squad than Q so far.

Great news is while QJ is/was a second Round project, Tuli is proving to be a first Round. It's all how you look at things.
As far as QJ stepping up, I've already found three posters on this page who have cosigned on this. Please, please, please temper your expectations.
