This one is closer. I'd say Woodhead was the better runner... Sproles value was in the return game. Both were great receivers.
Do you remember that high-point catch Woodhead made against a much taller, NYG DB?
I remember seeing a NYG coach or trainer in the background give the biggest eyeroll ever.
It was hilarious and impressive at the same time.
Sproles, who was actually more durable than Woodhead til he turned 34....then he wasn't. Sproles stats actually kinda dwarf Woodhead and
Woodhead was banged up well before then. Actually didn't make it to 34 in the league.
