We basically have a lot of needs this year including WR, TE, edge rusher, and depth on the OL.

I rank needs as 1) DT, 2) RT, 3) TE, 4) WR, 5) RB. When the pick arrives, Michael Mayer, Dalton Kincaid, and Drew Sanders are in my first round cluster and the Draft is only 3 months away.

One way to look at it: Kellen Moore is actually a Herbert guy via historical connection. Staley stamped the approval.

I think you draft RT on Day Two as insurance. Insurance from what? From Storm Norton having significant playing time for a third year in a row.

Storm Norton and Trey Pipkins competed through most of training camp before Pipkins was named the starter.

Then when injuries struck the O-line, everybody BUT Storm Norton (and Brendan Jaimes) were thrown in.

Jamare Salyer and Foster Sarrell got reps in front of Storm Norton. I doubt Norton ever suits up for a Chargers game again.

Skip Peete and Philbin would probably upgrade the current staff. Both have decades of experience coaching in the NFL and would also help with continuity for Moore if he liked coaching with them in Dallas.

Also, if the current HC continues to not want to handover play-calling duties on defense he could make a guy like Philbin an assistant HC/O-line coach and delegate some HC responsibilities over the course of the work week to him to help lighten the load.

I agree. Lets upgrade as much as possible.... add some better defensive coaches .....our personnel cannot be as bad as they have played the last 2 years.....

agree, but depending on which receivers are let go for cap reasons, WR may move way up the board.... and if we keep bothe KA and MW, then we need to aquire at least 2 or 3 speed merchants at WRn and add a speed merchant at RB to be in rotaion.....plus a power back for short yardage domination.....
