Seems to these eyes, that Moore runs a play-action, power-running game out of 21 personnel that relies on a superbly talented offensive line, and studs - in Lamb, Pollard, and Schultz - at the skill positions.
Meh….hopefully he’s a coach who understands player strengths and weaknesses and designs a scheme to maximize their talents versus….here’s the scheme boys…deal with it.

I think this is most positive I have seen you! Glad you like Moore!
Our history with guys named Kellen is great.
And the Moore you see Moore, the Moore you will like him, River.
If it works out they won’t have much time to work together, moore was already hot shit once for HC jobs, if things go well with LAC he won’t be around for long…
Chargers can only hope Moore is on the job for one year - that would bea very positive year
granted with the chargers one year can be staley is let go and the whole staff fired
I like that he has experience calling plays. Not a 1st time coordinator.
I like some of the Stats his Dallas teams had. And Herbert is a much better passer than Dak.
However, I do have some reservations as the Cowboys are known for having a good offensive line. (Deserved or not.) I know they struggled a bit this year.
I do think, someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but McCarthy is a West Coast Offense guy too... so even if the play calling isn't the same, the terminology should be?
(I bring up because the WCO is known for being pretty verbose)
I'm a big wait and see guy, but I do like some of the things posters have been saying about him.
I want Moore's input on A) the talent at offensive line and B) improving the power running game. IMO, first thing on his wish list is a power back: We have the playbook for Pollard for Ekeler outside the tackles, now we need the power back to run inside the tackles: Elliott's role.

Pieces we don't have. And arguably don't even have the QB they had. But between Dak and King Checkdown, I don't know who is more afraid/hesitant to go deep.
The few Cowboys fans I know were happy to see him go, but he had been there a few years so maybe he wore out his welcome.
Seems like the Chargers knew of the Moore possible availability, and held back on offering the position, plus they had the advantage of having the best available job, and patience, well before spring practices.
Glad it's done, I'm looking forward to more flexibility in early downs. Now for the rest of the Offensive staff, and upgrades at RB and WR.
