That doesn't mean I would close the door on the Broncos. It would just have to be a massive overpay. But they have an arrogant HC in Payton and he might just be open for business.

I don’t think you are understanding the bigger picture.
To do a divisional trade for a franchise QB is rare.
And it’s rare because the outcome could very well bite you in the ass publicly and you look like a complete idiot with your fan base and the endless butt of jokes with the trading teams fan base if that QB you allowed to be traded for turns into a franchise QB. Your team will forever be looked at as the fools that made that trade. GMs know this.
I do not think Harbaugh is going to start his coaching career in LA trading his QB that he won a National Championship with to a division rival much less one with Sean Payton as it’s HC, unless he’s got the immediate upper hand in the trade.

So Surtain who’s a proven, pro bowl level, rookie commodity is coming to LA. If not, no deal.
Along with him is 2 1’s this year. However DEN does that, is their business but they need to do it for this draft. Use next years picks to find a way into another 1st this year. Don’t care how they do it, but I’d start with AZ.
Next years draft isn’t even close in talent to this one.
That’s why DEN is do desperate to trade up for a QB in the 1st place. That’s why this whole trade is happening. Next years QB class is meh..and Denver knows it. So I’m using that leverage.

Thats why we need to rape them if we do. I dont fear Penix in our division though so let Telesco draft him and give us a future 1st in 2025 plus their second and third rounders. TT will fuck up the rest of their draft.

100% Bronco's or Raiders need to be bled painfully for trading with us. I'd rather refuse to our slight detriment than help them in any way👍 if either one trades with us, my hope is by 1/2way point of trainig camp they suffer from buyers remorse😁

Question. How much is the projected FA money next year for the Chargers? LA would be doing a new deal with him after this coming season.

Bosa suffers from 2 major problems. Unavailability and lack of maturity. He's uber talented and a beast on the field, but he's also petulant on the field/sidelines....If we could get a decent return( like a Surtain) I would in a nano-heartbeat!

Not doubting Surtain's ability...it's just that Trader Joe JUST barely engineered us out of Cap Hell, and some people want to hop right back into awarding these monster deals...shouldn't we give ourselves a year or so at least to breathe a little before taking on more bank bucks deals?

Getting Surtain this year doesn’t have anything to do with Bosa. Surtain would be getting his big pay day next offseason and his agent would know this as parameters of that deal would already be discussed in agreement to the trade.

Also. This would be the only way I’d trade with a divisional rival. I’m only trading a franchise QB prospect to a divisional opponent with Sean Payton as the HC, if I get a sure fire, pro bowl level difference maker in the deal.
Who just so happens to be on his rookie deal, is 23 years old and is the best at his position.
