Herbert isn't a "worst".
RB and WR remain to be established.
RBs could find new life with a real blocking OL, a competent HC and OC.
WRs same with a run game.

We will add WRs and at least one RB..
Draft and FA aren't over.

We can't judge the skill positions ( or OL) based on last year's record lousy offensive coaching and playing without a competent C.

Guys I 100% understand they are not finished with the roster. That is not what I posted about. There was a line up posted in this thread,that the poster claimed was a complete roster.

I simply said that if that is a complete roster, it is a complate roster with the worst WR and RB rooms in the league.

As it stands, you are right about the RB room. Last year’s room was not much better, if it was better at all…..Ekeler, Kelly, Spiller, Dotson. The version of Ekeler we got last year was a wash with Edwards. Kelly was a wasted roster spot. The other two, who never played, are still in the room

With better blocking schemes and an upgraded O-line, including drafting a road-grading OG, I think Dot could surprise as the #3 back in the committee...still need a bell cow to go with Edwards...

In my case, WR and RB were not ignored. This fan-scout sneaked in with late round value to round out those position groups.

Sooner or later opponents will stack the box, and we will need to burn them to a crisp with medium/deep shots.

There really is no hurry or requirement of lofty WR production with clock management.

That's what I was responding to.

IMO we don't know squat about what the rostered RBs and WRs can do in 2024.

2023 was a coaching cluster**** for the Chargers.
Indications are that Harbaugh & co can do more with less. Which IMO they will not have to do.
