Didn't see much of him last year or in camp so I have no idea how much he has left. As a role player it would not be a bad signing, especially if he is cheap and if we move on from Gordon use that money for extensions.

I did not say to sign Shady McCoy. I view this move today as a Win-Win for Telesco. By putting Gordon on the market for the expressed purpose of Melvin & his agent team realizing his real value. In the meantime, the Chargers know an Anthony Lynn/Shady McCoy reunion in SD is a possible Plan B.
To sum: the McCoy as the feature back is a dream. Melvin needs to wake up and sign the deal on the table by the Chargers. That is Plan A, which is in everyone's best interest.
