I don't think he is average. He is a top 5 or 6 RB and should be paid ahead of Freeman which is what he was offered but Gordon wants top 2-3 pay. He isn't top 3.

I don't know if this has been discussed. But did Telesco make a mistake by not anticipating the possibility of Gordon holding out for a contract the Chargers we're never going to pay him? I think he must have had some idea that this was going to happen, and could have drafted a player like Justice Hill in the third round (instead of Pipkins) as a hedge.

They have that option. What I said is that all Gordon would be entitled to is the game checks for which he is on the roster, minus the fines which the Chargers are entitled to deduct.
