Yep. And we didn't fare any better against them that time they were here for the stubhub opener in '17... when Cutler stumbled out of the broadcaster's booth, and then Wrongway Koo biffed it at the end for the L.
And that Dolphins team went 6-10.

I hope it's Operation: Fish Tank all year in MIA.

I guess that $10 mil a year extension is off the table? If that rumor was ever true...

That's the most significant part of this move
MG no longer has a long term deal offered.
and won't until the end of the season.
anyone else getting a different meaning?

Pope can always be a RS for now.
I like impact players at RB. What's Ajayi up to?

He might be the one player out there whose skills are most similar to MG III.

MG isn't very good at math. he's never going to recoup what he leaves on the table this year if he doesnt get in to the building. When TT offered 4 yr 10/per, his agent should have countered with a 10m/1 year bump deal with a no-franchise tag clause next year. he'll find out then what he's really worth, and its not $13M and never will be absent some blockbuster 2019 numbers. If he sits a year, he's looking at an $8m/yr max offer imo.

Even if he leaves just $5.5M on the table, he'll never even recoup that by forcing it one year early. unless of course he had a career ending injury this year after locking in a longer guarantee deal.

As i've thought about it - the only way his position generates $$$ to him is assuming he won't be playing for 3+ more years. He's basically betting he's not really worth the contract he's asking for.

I don't think the Colts are letting any of their OL go. They finally have a good OL. They've worked hard to get to this point. And they have some young guys on relatively affordable contracts.

4 years, $10 million/year sounds pretty good... I wonder how much of that was guaranteed...? RB's need to get a good 2nd contract; their careers are short. MG is probably wishing he didn't get drafted in the 1st (5th year option). This is the year (5th) where RB's would like to cash in as they are in their prime.

I would like to think that TT warned them about the fact the hammer was coming. It really appears to me that MG's representation are just ass hats. Well the hammer has shown up either way and he is no better for following his agents lead. Time to cut his losses and see what next year might get him AFTER he has a full stellar season that he feels he is capable of, hence his demands.

                      Get yer shit together Melvin..........

This should be the moment that MG realizes his reps failed with their approach and he needs to fire them and report or fire them and work quickly on a new deal. It's not gonna get better now

MG3 clearly has not read The Art of the Deal.
