You can poach, yes. But someone will have to convince me Pipkins has that kinda value to any team, right now his level of play suggests otherwise, cuz he Looks to be safe on the PS at least for now. Maybe the next couple weeks changes that, I would love him to have decent value to the team this year. But if not then not and maybe there's a promising UDFA more worthy of the 53? I'll let the coaches decide.

Maybe both Tranquill and Dzub make the roster and Watt gets cut. They wont sacrifice special teams coverage out of fear that they could end up going into the playoffs again with an entire position group out. That was more bad luck than anything. I think what we want is for Dzub to be replaced by a player who can actually contribute on O or D.
But if that player doesnt surface in the preseason i would be surprised if they risk our coverage teams best player. Just my opinion. Every team has a special teams ace they covet. Dzub is ours. Wether you and i like it or not.
Cheers

Ahem...
When the Bolts first signed Gates, a total project, did he produce right away? Well, some! Did they stick with him, coach him up, until he became a Pro-bowler? Yes! When the Bolts first signed Twill, a UDFA, did he produce right away? No! Did they stick with him, and coach him until he could become a productive starter? Yes! Therefore, let this be a lesson to all of us: Project players take time. Some pan out, some don't. But we at LEAST need to give them a fair chance to produce after a certain coaching up period. That is all.

Our final roster spot(s) are gonna go to ST ace(s).
Derek Watt. Geremy Davis. Nick Dzubnar.
Respectfully disagree.
Still not a fan of Jeremy Davis

I don't think Pipkins is 100 % safe. But I do think he has about 100 exhibition season game snaps to show something to make the team think he has some potential. He can't be protected every snap and still make the team. Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
