Obviously I hope the Chargers can end up 10-6 or 9-7 and win the division somehow.

Would it be any consolation if the Chargers end up with a better record than the Rams?

    Rams 1st year in L.A. 4-12
    Bolts 1st year in L.A. 9-7

    Rams 2nd year in L.A. 11-5
    Bolts 2nd year in L.A. 12-4

    Rams 3rd year in L.A. 13-3
    Bolts 3rd year in L.A. 4-6

    Rams 4th year in L.A. 5-4

The Rams have spent a ton of money and are looking like they won't make the playoffs either.

I for one only really care about the Chargers, wonder if there are any Ram haters in here?

The Rams have mortgaged their future for this season, while not addressing the real issue on their team which is the offensive line. They have no first round draft picks for the next 3 seasons and have some huge cap issues looming.

Rams have def mortgaged everything and have regressed. Without the types of injuries (or holdouts) we've had. Major cap issues is correct and no draft picks, yikes.

an update to the main story...

As the $5 billion-plus SoFi Stadium nears completion in Los Angeles, the Rams and Chargers are fighting to win the hearts of Angelenos while negotiating their awkward arranged marriage.

It is. If it wasn't as 'personal and affronting' it would be comedic.

Fascinating article, especially the St. Louis lawsuit that isn't going away. Perhaps the Rams should move back to St. Louis and Kroenke sells the St. Louis Rams to Spanos for $1 and Kroenke gets the L.A. Chargers.

The Rams might be more screwed than the Chargers. No first round pick in 2020 or 2021 and Ramsey was snapping tonight postgame. And then there’s Goff. No TDS in November and a massive contract. Throw in Cooks and a couple other guys and it’s ugly.

I feel the Chargers are the better team in L.A. now and that's not saying much!

Maybe we should better appreciate TTs methodology.

BOHICA. why they are called the Rams...

If, for example, the Chargers are unable to sell their designated share of luxury boxes, there should be provisions which spell out whether the Spani are on the hook for all or a certain percentage of those suites, who will be compensated, and how much. You better believe there were corporation lawyers cranking out reams of paperwork to back up all of this, well before the stadium construction began.

Now, if the Spani are having cash flow issues making payments on their share of the construction, THAT is a serious issue...and yes, there should also be clauses to spell out what happens with delinquent payments or total failure to pay...all this is speculation until we find out specifically what the issue is...
Would kronki and NFL be able to force Spani to liquidate chargers if he cannot make his $$$ obligations and Default on NFL agreement? At this Stage Not Sure what the true value is of the chargers with or without players Like Rivers. What sign does it send if Rivers were to sign with a new team next year? Heck, after last nights game could Rivers & Weedle finish their careers with Rams? Never a dull moment in Spani World.

Rivers is a free agent next year Goff has a long contract. Might be good to sit behind Rivers for a year if he joined Rams cheap. Rivers could end up as a coach with Rams.

if Rivers wanted to sign an extension it would have been done. He will either retire or look for a true PO team that need a vet QB. I think He could be interested in Panthers and Rams.
