There were multiple things wrong on that play. Gordon missed his block leading Rivers to throw a pass he shouldn't have to a receiver who did not come back for the ball and allowed the DB to come around him for a pick.

We sure did get a lot of respect out of that last win.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

But Gordon did hustle and make the stop which was a 4 point swing in our favor. Props to MG III for that.

          From NFL.com

Joey Bosa just rocked the Bears' offensive line in Sunday's 17-16 win, and this pass rush is great. It's a big part of the reason why I -- like many others -- thought the Bolts could be a major contender back in August. But that's just not the case with this snake-bitten franchise.

The Chargers have been plagued with injuries. Again. And prior to Sunday's win, they had a three-week span that included mind-numbing losses to the Broncos, Steelers and that "only the Chargers" finish in Tennessee. As I have many times in recent seasons, I feel for you, Chargers fans.

Chargers vs Packers is usually a pretty good high scoring game that we lose. Who knows maybe we get one from them this time.

Well it would keep things interesting for both teams.

Ya, the play was blown up from the start due to piss poor protection. I agree that Rivers never should have thrown that ball when he realized the pressure was in his face and he couldn't step into it. Had he been able to step into it, who knows what happens. It's hard to say what the original play design was from the highlight reel without seeing Big Mike's body language on the original route.

To Gordon's credit he did save a TD after the error, but his list of negatives are piling up on the weekly. He did get us a TD though so that's a positive.

Like when Rivers threw for around 500 yards and still lost.

And Packers have a home game at dignity (built in 3 point advantage). lol So it's basically a wash between the teams.

I hate to be blunt, but there is no way in hell we're beating the Packers. Because that would mean we're a playoff contender. And we're not a playoff contender. Hell, outside of Bosa, we can't even tackle.
