Difference is......we traded them the #1 pick...the guy they really wanted.

We would be trading up 2 spots to #4 from 6. Not #1.

Yes, I realize there's that difference...but the basic premise is similar...in 2004, the Gnats in essence moved up from #4 to #1 to get Eli, whom the Bolts had picked...but AJ Smith demanded and got a king's ransom: the Gnats 04 3rd rounder, (Kaeding) their 05 FIRST rounder (Merriman), even their 05 fifth rounder, later traded away. That's a lot to give up to move up just a few slots. If TT is entertaining any thoughts of moving up from #6 to #2, the price will be roughly similar...if it's from #6 to #4, depending on how much they play hardball, a bit less, but still substantial...a fourth rounder won't cut it...

I’ve said for months now that I believe Tua will be there and even expect Herbert to go before our pick after he blows away the combine.
no need to trade up or down
as big a Tua fan I am, I’m happy going defense or OT if I’m wrong and Tua goes early.
