Limit scoring by the other team, getting takeaways can make a huge difference, as can having an ELITE QB. Both are best. LAC's best shot is defense.

The 49ers have an elite defense - it didn't hold up against the KC team though. I think you need a good D against therm but I also think you need to have a high scoring offense.I really doubt you can beat them by simply having a strong D.

Agree....completely!

The chiefs have averaged close to 30 points per game since Reid took over. Any team wanting to beat chiefs needs to gameplay intending to score 30+ points to have a shot..... the 49ers lost the SB because they only scored 20 points....... that is not enough to beat any good offense..... once chiefs figured out what 49ers were doing, they could score at will...... with today's rules, you cannot stop any good offense..... a perfect throw beats perfect defense every time......

with FA, it is nearly impossible to build and keep together a better defense than 49ers had last year....and 49ers had to trade away a great player in off season so they could afford to keep others.....

People seem to have forgotten Pittsburgh. They get Ben back, and the defense is actually stacked.
The safe prediction is KC over the NFC champ.
Rivers has a better line, but I don't think he has better weapons.
He does however reunite with Artavis Scott and Dontrelle Inman!

no doubt that Rivers leads colts to division title...... and I agree that Indy, PITT, Ravens, and KC are clearly the 4 best AFC teams and AFC East will suck..... ....... 2 of those 4 will be in AFC championship game......It will be great to see Rivers with a great OL and great coaching for first time in his career......

stats mean NOTHING when correctly judging QB's....... especially picking any one single stat is silly.....

anyone who has seen carr play knows hew sucks .,.... even raiders fans know it..... when they see carr run out of bounds on 4th down to avoid getting hit or throwing a pick, fans and some players lost all respect for him....... that is why chuckie signed Marietta and will likely trade up for or draft a rookie QB........
