I'm not real confident that Ben makes it through this year, let alone 2. And it's not really a run based offense, they throw the shit out of the ball. Ben led the league in passing in '18 with 20 more yards than Jameis even had this past year. Jameis even has the size and the same sort of escapability to extend plays when the pocket breaks down, as Ben does. It makes a lot of sense on paper.

      That's too many.
      They will trade up somewhere.
      Machine says #6 for #9 & #20 would be a go.
This creates potential opportunities for LAC.
      eg. Draft Hurts at #71,
vs trade #71 to JAC for some 4th rounders (RBs & WRs galore.)
Thats cool if Simmons and Herbert arent the target because if Jax does that, its to get Herbert. If Simmons is still on the board he will go before us at #9.

Dont kno if a LT will be the pick now with Bulaga signed. I think they want to roll with Pipkins with Tevi backing him up....which would suck. Need better OT depth i agree but doubt it will come in the 1st round now.
Think we going QB at #6 or we trading up.

Teams dont value safety and linebacker so much they always slide a bit even if they are bluechipers
so i think there is a chance simmons slides to the 9th pick just like derwin slided to 17th

If the Chargers are drafting at 9 - say they trade down with the Jags - I still probably go OT over say WR in this draft since the WR draft is so deep. If Herbert falls that far - thats fine too. Kinlaw, OT or Herbert at 9 - all would be good with me.

At #9 one of the big 4 OTs will be there.
We do not play modern football.

That's not really true in recent drafts. Devin White went #5 last year and Roquan Smith went #8 in '18, and neither was as dynamic a player as Simmons is.

Finding a landing spot just got a little tougher for Gordon.
