Can't even tell the players without a scorecard yet and were already trying to guess the final standings.

Reid is a great coach and they are a class franchise so the division will continue to go thru them until further notice.
IMO
1) KC
2) Denver (wild card)
Raiders and Chargers round out the division, but both probably win 8 or 9 games and narrowly miss the playoffs. The division and the entire AFC are just so tough this year. And we lucked out last year without any truly devastating injuries which means we are unfortunately due this year. Refs, bad bounces whatever - add that to the usual mix of which we rarely seem to be the beneficiary of.“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

So what you are essentially saying is that bringing in an inexperienced and unproven rookie is an upgrade over a proven vet in the prime of his career.
Okay, day dream if you like.
Here are your problems:
1. On offense you have no offensive weapons that the Chargers need fear, & you have a running sore at RT in a division of edge rushers.
Chief fans seems to think that Kinnard will amount to a damn there....poor bastards. The entire Chief's roster is filled up with crappy RTs.
The only half way decent RT you have (in a run blocking sense) is at LT, where he's somewhat of a liability there on passing downs.
And its not like the Chiefs bother to run the ball which means you guys wasted a ton of money on his marginal services and Ronald Jones.
And the wishful thinking that your receiver group is more talented this year is really sad: some day, Sky Moore will develop into a good
polished NFL receiver...that won't be this year. You'll be sick of them and pining for Hill again come midseason.
2. On defense, you have no damn edge rushers. Karlaftis? Nope! Who? McDuffie will take some time and his short arms and average/small stature ain't going to be
helpful against the bigger Charger receivers. Chenal would have been great back in the day, but he's so stiff and linear that he will be a huge liability on passing downs.
Are you discussing their limitations on Chief's planet, or is it just one big love fest?
When the Chargers aren't running over your defense, Herbert will sit back and pick his teeth while scanning the field.
Tell me about all those stars in your back 7 that are going to blanket receivers.
IMHO
1. Chargers
2. Denver
3. Chiefs
4. Las Vegas
I put you guys ahead of Las Vegas because of their new coaching staff. Do not feel too comfortable at #3, last time Visor junior got the Broncos off and running quickly his 1rst year before they ran into a ditch.Last edited by powderblueboy; 05-05-2022, 08:23 PM.

Bottom line, credit where credit is due and KC is tops until someone takes them down. Good teams/organizations find ways to fill holes. Let's see who has done the better job.ESPN Screename: GoBolts02
