And here's why. I think the Dolphins want a qb who they are not taking a chance on injury wise and they draft Herbert at 5 leaving Tua at 6 for us. Now I have pushed hard for us to draft Herbert because I really want him to be the Chargers next QB of the future but something just tells me the dolphins will select him at 5. If we happen to get Tua I will be just as stoked as if we drafted Herbert. One thing I will say is Herbert and Tua will both be better then Burrow. Imo he is probably one of the most overrated QB's to go number one which he likely will. He has one good season, probably the best single season for a QB ever but did nothing before that really. I kinda feel bad for the Bengals in a way. Whether we draft Herbert or Tua they're going to sit for a year and learn. Now think about this we just got Trai Turner from the panthers right? What if we're not done upgrading the O-line and we get ourselves a decent LT maybe another guard setting up the inevitble we sign Tom Brady to a 1 year deal because the one thing that Brady wants is protection and I think we are heading in the right direction here and he wants weapons which he would have now.

I’ve been saying this exact thing for a while now.
burrow is likely over rated and won’t win anything, especially in Cincinnati
both tua and Herbert ahead of burrow
and dolphins fall in love with Herbert leaving us tua

My Take, TT will give Lynn one more year to make an impression. TT brought Lynn in to get rid of River but may not have much use for him after next season. I think Chargers will be bottom feeders for 2 years while they look to get younger.

lynn has no business developing a Rookie QB.

He brought Lynn in to get rid of Rivers? Really? One of the attractions of the Charger job WAS Rivers as our QB. He had a bad year last year and was let walk but TT did not need Lynn to do that. I think our record in the next couple of years will depend greatly on what we decide at QB and some average luck at injury.
