The statement of 2nd halves is not very accurate. 3rd quarters is much more accurate. Lombo is very slow to react (if at all) to what others are doing to adjust to his game plan.

I remember in Staley's 1st season the all access video showed Staley saying about the offense "We are going to throw this shit downfield!" What he didn't know is that in the offensive meetings Lombo was saying "We are going to throw this shit horizontal, from 5 yards behind the LOS to 5 yards beyond the LOS!"

PS - most of the Mahomes game winning drives are against the Herbert led Chargers after Herbert just completed what should have been a game winning drive if he had a defense.
