For those of us who watch #10 on the regular, we know he can get it done.

Damn this kid just keeps drawing me back in and I was at cruising altitude dammit. He’s really good and not only is the arm strength back he’s also running the ball well again. Had anyone on this coaching staff noticed Everett trying tap out in KC we could and should be 2-0 against the Chiefs.

Popper posted something in his game article that I had a hard time believing so had to look it up: Herbert has 12 game winning drives in his career. Patrick Mahomes, who has been in the league 3 years longer than Herbert, also has 12 game winning drives.

        Would have have believed that?

        1. Tom Brady (58), 2. Peyton Manning (54), 3. Drew Brees (53), 3. Ben Roethlisberger (53), 5. Dan Marino (47),

The Chiefs don’t need to come from behind as often. Mahomes has a lock on the AFC west and hasn’t lost a road game in the division, 14-0. That’s the mark I want

i guess it depends on the nuances on game winning drive vs. a comeback, but it feels like Mahomes has engineered 100 comeback wins in his career (it feels like he has 5 or 6 on just the Chargers). the man is deadly.

and if someone does manage to beat the Chiefs, they literally have to kill all 9 lives of Mahomes during the game to get the win (the buffalo game this year).

I think if the game is tied you get credit for a game winning drive, vs being behind in the 4th quarter and coming back to win. In either case, Herbert is right with him despite being in the league 3 fewer years. 3 of Mahomes drives are against us.

Right. Raiders and Broncos have already changed GMs and staff the past two seasons because they couldn't challenge the Chiefs. It's the Chargers' turn. Six more games in Telesco's tenure gives me hope.

And in the 1st year and 2nd year of their rebuild, respectively after sweeping the front office and coaching staff. Both have a bucket of stink at the QB1 position.
