but I am also curious about DD. I’ve seen you make the Atwell comparison and they look similar. McVay’s making wine from water with Puka and Tutu while Kupp is out. Necessity is the mother of invention and we now have a need. Can’t rely on MW. KA is about to see doubles. The field is wide open fellas. Find your space
    And catch the damn ball.

We do not play modern football.

The non throw to QJ.....I've heard some say that Herbert is too smart and that this an example. He sees the safety flip his hips towards Q and goes to Kennan. Not sure it's true but if it is he is a processing computer and he may never take risks.

Chase Daniel's discussion is the most informative insight to Justin Herbert and the Chargers' offense I've seen anywhere. I learned so much in the 15 mins it took to watch this video.

I seem to recall that MW had a very quiet rookie season. In view of that, I wonder how much we should expect from QJ. I fear our passing game will suffer with big Mike out.

I saw someone breaking down some film of Herbert a year or so ago (can't remember who) and an observation was Hebert processes stuff so fast that he can at times move off a receiver who is initially covered when Herbert first looks at him who then comes open after Herbert has moved on to his other options. QBs that process slower would see the receiver come open. That was his observation, for whatever that is worth.

I'm optimistic that with the addition of Fehoko and Guyton presumably returning week 6, even if QJ isn't a stud in year 1 but is competently adequate, there will be enough WR talent that it won't all have to fall on Keenan and the passing offense will still be good. There is going to be a lot of speed on this WR corps. Guyton and DD sub 4.4, Fehoko and QJ in the 4.4s. I'm looking forward to it. I think after QJ catches his first long TD pass from Herbert he is going to have more confidence in himself and Herbert is going to have more confidence in him.
