If Lynn is a good guy knowing he'll soon be gone...then he should go out developing his team. I'll like it if Lynn progresses Herbert more. He'll be going for the win, but I'd like have him doing it (play calling wise) for Herbert's learning sake. Get him being a pocket passer that it takes to make it big time. We all know he ran outta the pocket a lot of times at Oregon, with good success.
Lynn should throw himself on his sword and give Herbert a lot of pocket passing plays. Unfortunately, this O-line has him rolling out on countless designed pocket passing plays regardless. Still...give him non-rolling out passing plays, if you would, for his experience's sake. Pocket passing experience.Last edited by Caslon; 12-23-2020, 12:19 AM.

This Tweet got my attention. I went back through Buffalo's last eight games, he's right. Buffalo is running plays out of a I-formation of close sets and they are running multiple plays of that formation, all ending with 5 Wide in the pattern. The Bills offense eats up zone defense in this formation.
