Have the bengals given up on Jonah Williams at LT? Or are they planning on moving him? I know he's on IR again. I wouldn't mind a trade up to 2 with Jax to get Sewell, but not sure we have the capital or players to make it happen... Plus we have too many other spots to fill.....

I think the cost to move ahead of the Bengals would be darn expensive and like you said - the Chargers are just not a LT away from being very good.

I think they have some building blocks but they can use this draft, with those 5 picks in the top 105-110 to really fill needs and add talent. I would be against trading up to get Sewell but wouldn't mind trading back to get maybe another 2/5 or 3/4 (even if costs the Chargers their own 6th) to get more picks in rounds 2-5

Elite wr talent will likely flourish depending on the QB skill, but lesser talents have a chance at thriving with certain qbs that match
so far herbert looks to work well with UDFA speed guys, and anyone can work well with KA
I’d expect our future OC to be very interested in what types of WRs match JH, Belicheat’s best GM skill is finding average joes to fit his system perfectly
hoping Josh wasn’t asleep in class that day
Agreed Herbert should have input picking wrs with the skills he likes. It appears Herbert likes guys that get separation more than guys he has to throw open.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

          Maybe trade with the Bengals
they must know we want Sewell as bad as they do
Guve them Williams to swap 1sts

Particularly on deep routes where the WR if able to separate late in the route (fast 40 times)

I don't think Williams does it - but here is a question - if the Bengals wanted a player - what player would you be willing to add to get Penei.

I truly do not think the Chargers have a young player under contract -- unless its like Kenneth Murray to actually add to a trade. Justin Jones or Tillery I don't think would add to the pot

Speaking of which - I forget what the 49ers gave up for Trent Williams and maybe he doesn't re-do his deal but that 4th round pick they used with Kelly and the 6th for Gilman -

I know what one player I would rather have!

Im not trading up to get Sewell. We have too many needs to do that. Trade down and get Slater. Or perhaps by the Bengals, being the Bengals they pick Parsons. Would be a good pick for them as well but Burrow needs OL....and they have 6 more rounds.

I think I would be good trading down to get Slater over trading up for the price it would take to get Sewell

And it is the Bengals - AJ Green will not be back - they could take Chase for Burrow

and if you do not get CB or OC in the third round, how about at the top of the 4th round
                        thank you

first two picks were rock solid but RB when they have Ekeler, Ballage and just spent a 4th rounder on Kelley - get the damn OL fixed.

Values werent there so i got the best players we can use at that spot. I had to go by who was available in the Simulator. Morrissey is a OC so i got one.

Wanted two CBs but just didnt work out. I like the RB pick and we need a bigger RB to team with Ek.
Sorry, Ballage isnt talented enough and neither is Kelly.

Give the sim a try, it isnt just as easy as you put it out to be....unless you reach. I aint doing that. The rankings are meh, some are better than other but it fun when you are bored. Cant do trades on that one above unless you subscribe. I dont subscribe to things like that.
