Can't hurt but that Wil depend on if they resign Tevi's. Still can't hurt. But in the early rounds a OT is a bigger need and there are some good ones. We also need a OC and need a pass rusher.

We need a lot so FA'cy we will give a better picture afterwards but we can't spend big and I wonder if this covid season will keep salaries down a bit.

    Doubt it lol.

I'm actually thinking we pick in the 10-12 range because we're gonna sweep the last 3 meaningless games. The chiefs because they may sit mahommes if they win the next 2.

we need 10 competent olinemen on this team. why? because for any given game there will always 2 out on injury. Whether it's a hamstring or a concussion you really have to plan for the worse. We go into every season hoping for the best and it's the worst. 10 years of this shit is enough!

Good thinking there, Gzoobie. Think of all those games Bulaga and Turner have been injured. When yer forced to play scrubs like Pip, Norton, etc., it loses us games. Plain and simple. I want TWO OT's and a C or C-G out of this draft, maybe even one G...Dudes like Tevi can be a backup swing T-G...

I know what Popper writes about Feeney but I truly think they need one OT and one OC from this draft. Bulaga will not be released this year so sure -- another OT will be something for the future. Its why I want of the 9 picks in the draft - three to be OL. Two on Days 1 and 2 ; another even if its a 6th rounder on day 3.

I also good with bringing back Feeney and Lamp. This was Lamps first real year of playing - there has to be some upside long term potential there.

If the Chargers do not bring back Mike Williams or re-do his deal - there is a bunch of cap space that can easily go to Feeney, Lamp and say Henry or Mike Davis. I am also not ready to give up on Turner just for cap space unless you can spend it better.

I agree - the more the better. Thats why I am okay bringing back Lamp and Feeney, Storm, Toner but with the hopes more of those guys are depth than starters. Even QBerry should still be under contract another year or two. The more depth the better,

Especially when you don't really even try. I've been a Chargers fan since '93 (granted I didn't follow the draft that closely back then) but I think we've only taken 2 OT prospects in the first 2 rounds since then, McNeill and Fluker. I think Lamp was brought in to play guard even though he played OT in college. This team just hasn't devoted draft capital to fixing that position.

So worse case scenario is 12.....man that's too far back. I as hoping to get inside 7 so we can potentially fleece other QB-desperate teams.
