After completing my season review, here is my current I’m the GM roster build.
Get out of the way TT/Johnboy.

    LEGEND
    (R) = rookie
    (TC) = team captain
    (M) = million
    (G) = guaranteed
    (SB) = signing bonus
    (CH) = 2021 cap hit

    Key Cuts / Trades
Casey Hayward ($8.75) - traded to Jags for pick 152 (round 5)
    Trai Turner ($11.5)
    Chris Harris Jr. ($7.25)

    Key Unrestricted FA Lost
    SupaMel ($16.65)
    Mike Pouncey ($7.25)
    Tyrod Taylor ($7.5)
    VIrgil Green ($3.5)
    Denzel Perryman ($7.5)
    DSquare ($1.187)

Key Players Resigned / Contracts Restructured
    Michael Davis - 5yr - ($60M)/$30G/$20SB/$7CH
    Mike Williams - 4yr - ($44M)/$24G/$16SB/$7CH
    Hunter Henry - 4yr -($40M)/$22G/$14SB/$6CH
    Rayshawn Jenkins - 4yr - ($30M)/$16G/$12SB/$5CH
    Sam Tevi - 2yr - ($9M)/$5G/$4SB/$3CH
    Dan Feeney - 2yr - ($8M)/$4G/3SB/$3CH
    Nick Vigil - 2yr - ($7M)/$3G/$2SB/$3CH
    Iaasc Rochell - 1yr - ($2M)/$1.5G/$1SB/$1.5CH
    Linval Joseph - 2yr - ($14M)/$11G/$8SB/$6CH

I resigned Tevi and Feeney because they graded out higher than Lamp in 2020. Both have significant starting experience. Ideally we drive them to backup depth.

    * All RFA & ERFA will be resigned.

    FA TARGETS
    Dalvin Tomlinson (DT) - 5yr - ($60M)/$30G/$20SB/$8CH
    Ted Karras (OC) - 4yr - ($36M)/$21G/$14SB/$6CH
    Darqueze Dennard (CB) - 2yr - ($10M)/$6G/$4SB/$3CH
    Fabian Moreau (CB) - 2yr - ($7M)/$3G/$3SB/$2,5CH

    TOTAL 2021 Cap Space Used
    $181,000,000.00 Projected
    $162,865,000.00 USED
    $18,135,000.00 Unused

I don’t expect a ton of FA spending with the reduction in projected cap space. A concentration in retaining our own and a few strategic targeted signings. After veterans get cut for cap space, it will be a buyers market for a final piece or two.

Super cool analysis! I loved reading through it. Personally, I’d rather see us getting an OT or Top Edge in Round 1 as I think we can’t afford to miss on protection for Herbert or pressure to apply on Mahomes when rushing 4.

        Thanks. Welcome to TPB!!!

If Farley is there he’ll most likely be the my top rated prospect.
I have Little as a top 15 prospect that slips to the second round because of injury/COVID opt out.
There is OT an EDGE prospect I like in the top 10.

Nice job, Ninja. We agree on PON's and cutting some of the dead weight (Turner... and possibly Hayward/Harris).
Does plan call for trading Harris... or cutting Harris? If cutting... you have to figure in the dead cap... which brings his savings down to $7.5 million (instead of the full $11.25 million).
Surprised to see Michael Davis contract so high. There are better graded CB's for cheaper (according to Spotrac).
You like Karas... I like Linsley as FA's. Don't you think MIA re-signs Karas (lots of cap space)...?

You’re right I need to put the correct $ for CHJR but the spotrac team builder included the appropriate amount.

When MD43 signs his new contract he’ll be CB1 on the roster. He is still young, ascending, coachable, and has the H/W/S combo that is highly sought after. If I’m high and he can be signed for less then more let in the piggy bank.

The fins definitely could resign Karras. I like him best and would make an early play for him. If I fail with Karras, I’d then target Posic or Lindsey. If no to all that OC falls to the draft with several options I like there.

PFF has us signing Corey Linsley C @ $11mil/yr and Alejandro Villanueva OT @ $15mil/yr.

They have us retaining Hunter Henry TE @ $12mil/yr.

We lose Melvin Ingram and Denzel Perryman.

              Michael Davis is erroneously omitted.

I’d be ok with HH, CL at those contracts depending on structure but not AV at all.

The HH/CL terms sounded reasonable. Four years and three years, front loaded. Re AV, it doesn't seem right does it ? PFF says great value is placed in mid tier offensive linemen. Villanueva has been consistent generally, but trending sharply down lately. He's 33 years old. I guess they consider a very mediocre Olineman at a somewhat expensive price to be the way to go.

I would put it this way. Outside of Sewell, none of these draftable OTs are gonna remind us of Wirfs. As vital of an idea as it seems to be to go heavy OL, which rookie is gonna be plug and play ? Experience matters.

                  Thanks for chiming in PFF.

If that 15 mil is for the Villanueva I saw play last night then NO THANKS. The Browns treated him like a rented mule.

Agreed, Villanueva is on the wrong side of 32 years old. Need to sign a center in FA with so many under 30 available. Linsley, Blythe, Pocic, and Karras.
Slater as a G/RT or tackle in the 1st round.
Wish we could replace our Offense with Bama's on rookie deals sans our QB

Your high-caliber FA IOL will be cheaper than your mid-level FA OT's.
That's why it's smart to target Linsley over Villanueva.
Draft your OT's... early and often. They're gonna get paid... so it makes sense to draft one every four years (cap-wise).

What about the other part of this equation ?
                          Tevi vs Feeney.
What do we have to build upon ?
We cannot just throw money and prime draft capital at this mess.
There has to be a full masterplan
                          that leaves no stone unturned.

BTW ESPN is talking about how expensive Thuney's gonna be.
