Interesting updated player rankings from Jordan Reid. All 3 OTs gone at 10.

In alignment with most respected draft evaluators. Except Quinn Meinerz — Wisconsin-Whitewater 91?

          Reid is good...reputable.
There was buzz yesterday that Slater is sneaking into top ten.
          I smell AVT @#13.

I smell a lot of drama. Just the build up they do all the time.
Seems every year we hear there will be a lot of trades and then not many trades happen at all, if any.

We have already had a couple which don't happen often before a draft. Maybe we see a couple more from teams wanting a QB or Pitts.

If that happens - it happens. By all accounts, Alijah Vera -Tucker is a plug and play OG for the next 8-10 years. Jeremiah says he has a very clean tape. Granted, not sure what you do about left tackle - maybe he can play it for a year. IF Tucker is the pick -- I would feel very good that the three interior positions would be an upgrade from last year. Thats a start. Still hoping for pure left tackle though.

Yep...an early run as I expect...then the Bolts will have to decide if Jenkins, AVT or someone else is worth #13, AND if they realistically think someone like Cosmi or Little will last until #47...this second consideration may force them to get a solid, though not necessarily stellar OT at #13...I think the later runs on T's will deplete the best from the ranks and leave nothing but projects and 3rd-rate leftovers by #47...

...and if Jenkins and AVT don't quite rank that high on the big board, we may go CB, D-line or LB...

But if there is an early run on OTs - meaning Darrisaw is gone as well as Slater and Sewell, that might mean a CB is there or possibly a QB. Chargers can leverage a trade - get some draft capital and get maybe Tucker, or Jenkins - in the late teens.

A lot of smoke out there - but come draft day - fewer trades happen I think and teams just take their pick

I’d be okay if AVT is the pick. Plug and play at guard. R2 needs to be a LT. Hopefully it’s Walker Little, but if we end up with Spencer Brown or D’Ante Smith, I could live with that.

If we can’t find a suitable 1 year bridge tackle, then we just play who we draft. There will be a steep learning curve. We might suck again at the position in 2022, but it couldn’t be that much worse than what Tevi offered.

It might be better in the long term. Year 3-4 of JH10’s contract should be optimal for our Super Bowl run.

Brandon Thorn likes Tevon a lot.
He points to Jedrick Wills as the example,
to support the claim that this guy can play OLT.
