Not easy drafting a guy from the MAC in R4 and asking him to start at LT in the NFL. And don’t say Villanueva.

speaking for myself, am trading down every chance eye get, albeit not gonna trade outta the first, as will hit the brakes before the end of round one.

      trade down w/WAS: 13 & 97 for 19 & 51.

      trade down 2 w/TEN: 19 for 22 & 100.

      trade down 3 w/BAL: 22 for 27, 104 & 184.

      027) ILB Zaven Collins * if he's not here, am looking RB Javonte Williams
      047) CB Eric Stokes * DT Daviyon Nixon is the backup plan here
      051) OC Josh Myers
      077) SS Hamsah Nasirildeen * NT Tyler Shelvin is on my mind in these parts as a backup as well
      100) OG Trey Smith
      104) RB Trey Sermon
      118) OT Josh Ball
      159) CB Ambry Thomas
      184) SS Divine Deablo
      185) CB Nate Hobbs
      198) TE Pro Wells
      241) RT Foster Sarell

am not into drafting for need round one for Oline, as am not enamored w/any of said prospects bantered thereabouts, and.... am perfectly content waiting things out for a vet LT later in the process.

we need to begin the process of being one of the teams/franchises that knows how to stockpile draft picks.... no time like the present.
Well, that's different for Telesco. Can't see him doing that but...I am a huge Javonte Williams fan so id love to land him. But I thought you were one that didn't like first round RBs?

LT is a big hole and at 13 I'd have a hard time seeing Telesco trade down like that while able to finally address it to not end up with one til 118. Villanueva is a bandaid, not a fix if we sign him. Frankly id rather not.

Just don't think that's Tommy's style to trade down three times before he picks a player.

      Gonna be an interesting draft.

Villanueva is like a crusty used band-aid with no adhesive.

Nice. I like Ben Mason a lot in the 7th. A lot of analysts are calling him a FB/TE hybrid. Kinda like a Kyle Juszczyk 2.0. But he’d be amazing on special teams.

Tyson Cambell is intriguing to me. A great talent maybe in need of better coaching to put it all together?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I’ve liked Mason as a prospective blocking TE for a while, but yes, the Juszczyk comp came from the kiwi.

For all those The Athletic subscribers, there was an interesting prospect list published today, a compilation merging 50 of the top analysts’ lists. Says it’s been pretty accurate over the last few years.
