It's not like many DL have the combination of speed, strength, quickness and athletic ability that Tillery does. We don't (really) save anything by cutting him, so there is not urgency to it. The upside is there. But you can only give them so long to improve. And it's time.

I’d still like to see them slide Feiler out to RT, resign abushi, quessenberry, and schofield. Promote jaimes to starting LG and call up hunter from PS to serve as depth at both guard spots and center along with quessenberry.
slater jaimes linsey abushi feiler
pipkins hunter quessenberry schofield
No need to pursue FA tackles for big $ or to draft OT high in the draft. You can draft a developmental type like jaimes in rounds 4-7. Another advantage of sliding feiler over is that it’d be much cheaper to sign a quality free agent guard to fill his spot than to find a new RT. There are some very intriguing names in FA at guard this year.
this approach would allow the chargers to focus most of their resources on defense where they are needed most, tag MWs, slide fieler over, sign FA guard or promote jaimes and then spend your draft capital on CB, IDL, and Edge where it’s needed the most. It’s also good for keeping continuity with guys that have already been in meetings and practicing together for one year on offensive line especially if jaimes is ready to step in."The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post.
