I'm increasingly looking at CB in R1 but it really depends on FA and how the top half of the draft plays out. Trade down for a QB hungry team also looks good but that's more luck than anything.

Don't think he will get past the TE needy Jets early in round 3 unless they go TE earlier like McBride or Wildemeyer in the 2nd?

Steve spelled it out, we have 2 good corners
I wouldn't hate making a splash in FA and going McDuffie at 17.

Davis and Samuel need a running mate.
If a good cover corner is there, happy to add him to the DB room.“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

Edge or CB in Round 1- can't go wrong.

I'm not a fan of PFF but they scored him a 51.7 for last season....which is lower than he scored with us the past 2 seasons.
Didn't think that was possible.

Here's a good article on the way the NFL's passing games (and defenses) have changed...
How The Short Passing Game Has Changed The NFL: Ron Jaworski played quarterback in the NFL for 15 years, from 1974 to 1989...
In 2010, screens accounted for 7.6 percent of the total quarterback dropbacks in the league, according to Pro Football Focus. This season, it’s up to 10.4.
But it’s not just screens. With the pass-rushers getting bigger and faster, offenses are relying more on short, quick high-percentage throws. Get the ball to a receiver in space and let him do his thing. The bubble screen has been around for a long time, but its popularity has really taken off over the last few years as coaches have looked for the easiest ways to get the ball in the hands of their playmakers. The popularity of the bubble screen also is forcing teams to rethink the type of cornerbacks they’re looking for. Not so long ago, teams were willing to overlook a corner’s ability and/or willingness to tackle if he was an exceptional cover guy. Now, not so much.
