So, if you want to sign Dexter, where would you get a DT that can push the pocket and help Bosa and Ingram? Dexter is a solid run stuffer, but he needs a lot of work on technique, and he is not a very good pass rusher.

You can get run stuffers later in the draft, or in FA for a relatively low price. There is no need to spend a 1st round pick on a player who is going to be a situational run down guy at best for his career.

I understand those who are hesitant to take a run stuffing NT/DT in the first round, but y'all are really selling Dexter short. I would bet on him being the value of the draft for anyone picking him outside of the top 10.

Yes, his number one asset is in run defense, but y'all are selling him short in the passing game. The thing with Lawrence is he requires a double team, or he's going to screw up your play. Teams are going to hate having to double him with Bosa and Ingram on the edges, but if they don't double Dex, he will collapse the pocket and push the QB right into one of those edge rushers. I honestly can't think of a better pick for the Bolts at the end of the first round.

Yep...need depth...at LB, DT, S and CB, along with a solid RT. To overcome the injury bug, depth is key. Time to re-load with upgrades and cut the dead wood.

Pick 28 needs to be a lineman, assuming there is no early run on them. Pick 60 should be BPA, hopefully that is a lineman.
