If Miami and the Bolts are having conversations, as posited by the Miami Herald...that could bring up an interesting trade scenario I considered back when we still had Rivers....The fins other 2 first rounders for our #6. Word is, per rotoworld, that Miami is torn on Tua vs Andrew Thomas. What if we offered them the opportunity to get both?

Not sure that would be enough for me, but TT does like the depth in the first round...if Simmons were gone, would you do this trade? 18 and 26 for 6?

Personally, I would want them to throw in 56...or at least 70 to boot...but if Simmons is gone, our eye is on the second tier QBs(or no QB)and we also like the second tier OTs? Might think hard about that trade...

      18. Henry Ruggs WR
      26. Jaylon Johnson CB
      37. Niang/Jones/Jackson/Prince OT
      70. Hurts/Eason/Fromm QB
      71. Taylor/Dobbins/Akers RB

      Seen worse scenarios....

Trade down is an interesting option depending on compensation. I could only imagine telescopes doing this though if he likes maybe Herbert and love and thinks one of them will be there at that pick as it is quite a drop

To move back that far I’d want more, much more.
          Another 2021 pick on day 2 plus a day 1/2 2021 pick.

I agree - 18/26 for 6 seems like a LONG way to drop . My guess Love or Herbert would be there but hmm. not sure I am dropping that far back. Would need something else - like you said a 2021 pick as well as maybe even Chargers add a 3rd to get a Miami 2nd in 2020

            Chargers 1st and 5th for Miami's two first, there 4th and a 2021 pick

              From the trade value chart 6 (1600) = 18 (900) + 26 (700) exactly

                Not enough.
#6 nets you an elite prospect.
                #18/#26 do not.
Pay the piper or sit back and wait your turn.

I agree. I can trade value chart from 6 to the Jags at 9 or maybe Browns at 10. Meaning something like adding a 3rd and 5th. For the Falcons to go from 6 to 16 or for the Dolphins 6 to 18/26 - both teams are paying a premium!

                  I still want Simmons.

Agree. I don't mind trading down 3-4 spots. That way, we still pick up an elite blue-chipper. But #18-#26? Yes, still some great players there, but too much of a drop-off...

Two of the most iconic Charger players in their history were picked at #5. Can they get a franchise player at #6 this year? I’m waiting

I was just listing the #s. If Simmons or Brown are not there maybe an option if they could still get a top OT. Maybe trade back up to 10 say if required. We do have a few needs to fill.
