Andrew Thomas had an excellent combine with +athleticism, best of best length, great flexibility to go with outstanding tape, best punch power/placement, passpro patience, and uprooting power/leverage.

Ezra Cleveland, Jon Runyan, Matt Hennessy, Austin Jackson, Charlie Heck, Cesar Ruiz, Alex Taylor, John Molchon, & Danny Pinter all tested very well.

Hardest damn decision at #6 ever. Usually, its 2-3 guys. Thomas, Wills, Wirfs, Bechton all possibly available & that's just at OT. There will be guys available at premium positions, guys with uber talent who are not at premium positions.

You really need to clearly know what style of football you want to play.

Brown is off my list at #6. Mediocre showing at combine, disappeared against Alabama.

If it was me, it would be Simmons or one of the OTs at #6. Personally, i've preferred Wills from the outset.

I'd pass on Tua and probably Herbert.

Isaiah Simmons 4.39

Any doubters in the #1 prospect in the draft?

Simmons was in my original cluster of 4 players that I considered to be close choices for us at #6 (Brown, Thomas and Okudah were the other three). But upon further study and the results of the NFL Combine, I now believe that Simmons is the best player of those with a realistic chance to be available at #6 overall. If Simmons is on the board, I want us to draft him.

Also, Becton's performance at the NFL Combine was very impressive--much better on his feet than I thought. For me, he definitely belongs in the discussion with Thomas, Wills and Wirfs as a realistic candidate to the be the first OL selected.
