You almost have it figured out. Those are the teams that have the talent to be in it every single week. Do you notice a slight difference between Lynn's results and those of Tomlin and Reid?

You do get that Lynn absolutely threw the game away by going early down run heavy yesterday, right? Herbert confrmed to Popper that the game plan was to run the ball more and taking the ball out of Herbert's hands is why we lost.

The primary problem is Anthony Lynn.

I saw Lynn’s press conference. We are basically a rudderless team. No leadership from the coaches or players. We don’t have a strong coach that can demand execution and accountability from the players and we don’t have any stand up players that can do it. Lynn mentioned James and Pouncey. I don’t really see much from Pouncey but Derwin at least have the d some swag. Without him, it’s just a bunch of guys. On offense there’s no one.

So you're saying there is a leadership vacuum when El Capitan left for Indy?
Rivers got them to battle hard down the end of every crummy season.

Lynn needs to escorted out of the building. The only consolation is he was able to bring Steichen up as offensive coordinator who has proven to be capable calling an offense, and Pep Hamilton as the QB whisperer. I imagine even better results with these two if we had a good offensive line to protect Herbert, and a decent head coach who's not conservative.

Can't blame Lynn for this season. He's being forced to play Herbert instead of the great, undefeated Tyrod Taylor.
